Announcing Outbound Management 3.6

Gaithersburg, MD. - December 13, 2005 - Syntelic Solutions Corporation today  announces version 3.6 of it's unique warehouse productivity tool: Outbound Management. Version 3.6 adds several extensions to an already powerful system to increase the benefits available to Syntelic customers.

Outbound Management is used by major distribution companies having complex trailer loading problems. These distributors face innumerable constraints in determining how to load a trailer. A single route may have have multiple stops with varying unloading requirement such as side and rear door delivery. Certain products must not be mixed with other products. Other products may need to be loaded in bulk, combining all stops together. And the cases assigned to each pallet or other container must always fit within certain cubic volume and weight constraints.

Because the loads change every day, these loading restrictions require time-consuming analysis on an ongoing basis. By not properly addressing these needs, product is oftentimes handled multiple times resulting in excessive damage or product may not be delivered properly. Some organizations resort to hand-drawn diagrams to direct their staff during the loading process. Outbound Management automates this process, reducing extra handling and ensuring a smooth select-and-load operation.

Version 3.6 adds several capabilities to this offering. First and foremost, the core load planning algorithm was completely rewritten to allow improved trade-offs between mixing stops on the same pallet, expanding compartments to allocate additional pallets, and sharing product between different compartments. The new version also expands it's warehouse personnel time recording and tracking capabilities to allow more exact attribution of work assignments and more robust reporting.

Outbound Management is developed to run under Microsoft® Windows® operating systems such as Windows 2000 and Windows XP, and may be implemented in a variety of configurations from single-user desktop environments to multi-user multi-distribution center operations. Syntelic products are written using Microsoft Visual Studio® development tools using Visual C++®.

Syntelic expects Outbound Management 3.6 to be available for general release by February 1, 2006.
